I’ve been struggling personally with my shooting style over the past year. With so many new photographers it’s difficult to set yourself apart. I see so many newcomers who emulate other photographers they like or mimic exactly what another photographer showed them in a workshop. I have been listing personal projects that I would like to work on in the near future. As I think about what direction I want to take with those projects, they sometimes get crossed off the list. The photo you are about to see in the video below never even made the list. It was a reoccurring idea that I could never put into words; mainly because I didn’t even know what I was talking about. I eventually just had to try it to see what would happen. I’m glad that I did because now that I see the potential, the idea has exploded in my head. Let me know what you think.
